Student Support Activities :
 “STELLA ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT CELL”
Globalization and competition have moved towards innovation to the centre stage of management. Entrepreneurial Management at present is the new norm and is no exception At this juncture; the MBA Department had started an Innovative Club called “Stella Entrepreneurship Development Cell”.
The activities organized by the cell meet the requirements of both students and corporate sector by supplying knowledge and skill inputs.
The members of the club meet once in a month to discuss, promote, instill and harness entrepreneurial spirit among the students.
The Stella Entrepreneurship Development Cell (SEDC) was formed on14th March 2019 with the following strategic intent
Vision
To produce successful women entrepreneurs imbibed with creativity and leadership qualities to create a global impact.
Mission
Inculcate the spirit of entrepreneurship among students.
OBJECTIVES
·        To build entrepreneurial culture among students.
·        To provide a platform for interaction with entrepreneurs.
·        To motivate students to develop business incubators.
FUNCTIONS
·        Conduct entrepreneurship awareness programmes through guest lecturers workshops and faculty development programmes.
·        Organize skill development training to become self employed.
·        Arrange short visits to the industries.

PLAN OF EVENTS

The Stella Entrepreneurship Development Cell plans to organize exhibitions to display designs, models and artifacts created and designed by the students at regular intervals for the visitors. 
It’s a platform for the budding entrepreneurs to showcase their masterpieces, receive orders and become financially independent.  
Student Support Activities - Soft Skills Training
The department in order to inculcate Self Management and to enhance Self Development partners with various premier Soft Skills and Spoken English  training institutes located in Vijayawada so that  Every year II MBA students in their third semester undergo Soft Skills  program for a period of 45 days after College hours i.e. from 3.30 to 4.45 pm. The course is taught by staff from Soft Skills institute, where students undergo intensive training in group discussions, interview skills, stress interviews and over all grooming in these classes apart from their regular course.

Student Support Activities - Technical Skills Training
Inventory Management Course:
The Department in association with National Skill Development Corporation under PMKVY (Prime Minister's Kaushal Vikas Yojana) is offering 38 hours program which started on 19th February 2019 to 2nd April 2019,in Inventory Management System. 45 students from final MBA & B.Com students have enrolled. Classes are held in the College Campus from 3.30pm to 5.00 pm.The primary objective of this course is to build the employability skills in order to meet the industry demand.
